Pre-publication checklist for business website

Contact links, mobile usage, page titles and measurement readiness: key points to check before publishing your business site.

Is it clear what you are doing on the first screen?

Someone seeing the site for the first time needs to be able to understand your industry, the service you offer and how to reach you. There should be a concrete explanation next to your slogan. Don't just leave service names within the image; Also write it as readable text on the page.

Try it thoroughly on the phone screen

Open the menu, go to the service page, fill out a form and tap the contact button. Can the texts be read without zooming? Do the images create horizontal bleed? Are the buttons too close together? Are the error and success messages on the form understandable? A flow that works on the desktop should be checked separately on the phone.

Verify contact information

Check that phone, WhatsApp and email links go to the correct person. If a callback form is available, verify that a genuine test request was received. The visitor should not be told "your message has been received" before the form has been completed. It should be clearly explained through which service the shared personal information is transmitted.

Prepare basic files for search

Each page should have a different and descriptive title. Let the short description describe the actual content of the page. Specify the preferred address with a canonical link; Published pages should be included in the sitemap. If there are Turkish and English versions, use the correct language matches. These preparations are not a guarantee of first rank or indexing in Google.

Do not accept measurement as established

Verify site ownership in Search Console and submit a sitemap. Check that Google can access the page in the URL audit. Data may not be available immediately on new sites. Record the start date, any changes you make, and any requests for quotes separately. Thus, in addition to the number of visits, you can also evaluate the site's contribution to the business.
